Protein Diet

Andreas Schumacher

The food we consume now a days has one major drawback. The relationship of protein and carbohydrates is not in balance. Our ancestors used every single condition of the nature to survive. Back then the major dishes existed of animals, all type of berries, and natural, eatable substances which were available in the sorrounding terrain. For the main dishes animals were hunted from the forest and farmland. The meals had the best possible protein sources. Now a days people rather cook nuddles , rice, and potatoes with red meat and vegebtales. Unfortuntaley, the realtionship between carbs, healthy fats, and meat/protein is not balanced. This is common for most major dishes.

There are several reasons why we need to consume at least 1,5 gram of protein per bodyweight kg a day. We keep the metabolism in gear and keep our insuline levels constantly low. We therefore avoid being tired in the afternoon, which is very common by a lot of people. Consumption of protein throughout the day keeps the concentration and energy levels high. Especially, with the unhealthy proteins there are several concerns: The risk of diseases such as arthritis, apoplexies, all types of cancer, and diabetes increase significantly.

Protein deficient diets causes further issues. The metabolism is not capable to work properly. Obese people have a much tougher time to lose weight if not enough protein is incorporated in their diets.

Conclusion: Protein should be consumed throughout the day.

Another major drawback and mistake done by individuals is the consumption of only 3 meals throughout the day. These meals usually consists of 2/3 carbs and 1/3 protein.

Result: Dramatic increase of the blood glucose level. The boundlessness intake of carbs can't be handled by the pancreas which will lead to continous hyperglycemia or hypoglecemia. Excessive consumption of carbs (sugar in particular) will be stored in the belly and hip area.

Much rather it is better to eat 5-6 single meals throughout the day which contains fruits and vegetables, fibers, and various proteins (e. g. , lean meat, milk products, and fish).

If a person has no way of consuming enough proteins through natural foods, because of an increase in activities (professional athletes, business people, etc.) then one should add protein powder products to the nutritional meal plan.

It is recommended to consume short-chain proteins in the morning, such as Nutreas Whey Protein, Nutreas Whey Protein Isolate, and Nutreas Soy Protein Isolate. In the afternoon it is recommended to consume long-chain proteins such as Nutreas Casein.
